Since I took office, with a focus on improving education within Nye County, efforts have been made to advocate for a superintendent and new legal counsel, who best align with our district’s needs. These changes were executed within my first six to eight months in office. Talk about record timing. Additionally, boots have been on the ground, actively engaging with our schools and community to identify and address challenges.
This dedicated commitment to serving our public schools with hands-on efforts and a determination to find effective solutions will be carried forward to the State Senate, embodying the tenacity required to enact positive change.
I’ve played a key role in collaborating with our local community college across our rural communities, Great Basin College (Director Dr. Christopher Salute MBA PhD), to revitalize vocational training opportunities for both students and adults in our most remote and underserved communities. This hands-on approach has been instrumental in reintroducing valuable trades education to empower individuals and strengthen our local economies.
We aim to reinstate essential vocational trades such as Automotive, Education, CDL Driver Training, HVAC, Welding, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrician, Seamstress, and Arts, among others, ensuring a diverse range of skill development opportunities for our community.
We're already making strides in this endeavor, having initiated partnerships with industry leaders like Snap-on Tools (Thank you to residents like Mr Joe Burdzinski) to bolster our automotive programs.
Additionally, we've collaborated with our local school district to share resources and property, facilitating the establishment of a CDL program.
These partnerships represent just the beginning of our efforts to revitalize vocational education in our community.
Drawing on My Experience on the School Board as a Model for Bipartisan Progress in the State Senate
When I look at my tenure on the school board, I see a blueprint for the collaborative efforts I aim to spearhead in the State Senate, fostering bipartisan solutions to address the pressing issues facing Nevada and restore our shared American Dream.
Through bipartisan cooperation, I seek to:
1. Drive Positive Change: Utilizing the lessons learned from my service on the school board, I aim to initiate policies and enact legislation that positively impact our state and its residents.
2. Prioritize Education: Building on my commitment to education, I will advocate for policies that ensure every Nevadan has access to quality education, laying the foundation for a brighter future. I’m the only person who has a solid plan to fix our public schools. School choice only kicks the ball down the street.
3. Forge Partnerships: By fostering partnerships across party lines, I aspire to find common ground and work collaboratively with fellow colleagues, to tackle challenges and seize opportunities for Nevada’s advancement.
4. Promote Economic Growth: With a focus on bipartisan economic policies, I will strive to create an environment conducive to job creation, entrepreneurship, and prosperity, revitalizing Nevada’s economy.
5. Uphold American Values: Grounded in the principles of our Constitutional Republic, I pledge to uphold our American Dream by championing legislation that promotes fairness, opportunity, and closes doors to being owned by foreign countries.
6. My pledge is to implement measures to mitigate the profound psychological impact, such as the illusory effect, on our populace is imperative in safeguarding against the proliferation of ideologies such as communism within America.
Together, through bipartisan efforts, we can save Nevada and restore the American Dream for generations to come. This does NOT mean compromising my morals and beliefs as a Republican. This will include ensuring everyone has accurate and educated information on every topic, we are voting on, to help us get these critical issues solved.
Your candidate can't win this race without your help. Flyering, word-of-mouth, and donating are all ways of helping us achieve our goals together.
This Senate District represents half of Nevada. If you want to preserve our land, stop BLM from developing massive solar and lithium mines, please do your research.
Research who owns electric companies, water companies, development companies, and who accepts donations from all of these companies?
Make no mistake that this Senate district is a land grab that is not in the best interests of Nevadan's.
While I am all for our work force, these land grabs are for them to make a quick buck and short term job force. We need to utilize land to grow our own, stop foreign countries like communist China from absorbing our land and farms.
While solar farms appear to be innocent, they utilize copious amounts of water, use a wide range of cancer causing pesticides (Monsanto/Round-up), they raise the overall temperature around you, and displace our native wildlife.
In addition, they usually aren't benefiting the communities they are placed in.
However, I am NOT against them as a whole, I believe it should be up to the communities they can affect, and to provide the education and transparency within those communities.
If we genuinely care about the climate, why do we engage in practices like cloud seeding, which has been proven harmful to humans and aquatic life (silver iodide)? What really made Walker Lake so Alkaline, and killed the Trout? Why do we promote 'use it or lose it' for water rights which encourages wasteful usage?
